Shared Micromobility Trips in North America Offset Approximately 81 Million Pounds of Carbon Dioxide Emissions Last Year

Shared Micromobility Trips in North America Averaged 1.5 Miles and 15 Minutes in 2023

The typical shared micromobility trip in North America in 2023 was 1.5 miles and 15 minutes long. E-bike excursions were the longest on average, covering 2.0 miles and lasting 20.3 minutes. Pedal bike journeys averaged 1.4 miles, while e-scooter rides averaged 1.2 miles. The trip times for pedal bikes and e-scooters were 15.5 and 11.6 minutes, respectively.
