New Nerdio offerings enhance Windows 365 & cloud desktop management

Automated end-user computing (EUC) management platform Nerdio has launched Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0, further transforming how organisations deploy and manage Microsoft cloud technologies.

Unveiled at NerdioCon 2025, taking place from 7-9 April in California, this latest release builds on Nerdio’s leadership in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) management and addresses the growing demand for scalable Windows 365 solutions.

Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0 introduces advanced tools for planning, migration, automation, and cost optimisation, alongside deeper integration with Microsoft Intune to streamline the cloud desktop experience.

Nerdio’s CEO, Vadim Vladimirskiy, said: “The shift to cloud-first computing has introduced new challenges for IT leaders, from cost predictability to security and endpoint management.

“With Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0, we are introducing the most advanced automation and cost optimisation capabilities to address these market needs and make Windows 365 and AVD management simpler, more efficient, and more scalable than ever before.”

Scott Manchester, VP of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop at Microsoft, added: “Windows 365 is designed to give organisations a seamless, scalable, and secure cloud PC experience. With Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0, IT teams now have the automation and optimisation tools to accelerate their transition to Windows 365, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness at every stage.”

Key Enhancements in Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0:

  • Accelerated Planning and Migration – Intelligent modelling, app migration tools, and automated workflows simplify the transition from on-premises infrastructure or existing VDI solutions to Windows 365 and AVD.
  • Enhanced Visibility – Improved dashboards and Intune Insights provide deeper visibility into endpoint and cloud desktop environments.
  • Advanced Management Capabilities – Built-in remote support, streamlined image management, and granular role-based access control (RBAC) ensure secure, efficient administration at scale.
  • Cost Optimisation – AI-powered licensing recommendations and usage analytics help right-size resources and prevent unnecessary spending on Windows 365 and AVD.

Organisations already using Nerdio Manager for Enterprise are seeing significant benefits.

Brad Ransbury, systems administrator at the City of Corona, said: “Windows 365 gives us the flexibility to provide secure, cloud-based desktops to employees, but managing it efficiently at scale was a challenge, until we implemented Nerdio.

“With Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0, we now have a centralised, automated approach to managing Windows 365, AVD, and Intune. The platform streamlines endpoint security, optimises costs, and simplifies troubleshooting, saving our IT team countless hours. The new automation and reporting capabilities provide real-time insights, allowing us to proactively manage our cloud environment instead of reacting to issues.”

Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0 also introduces updated pricing and packaging options, including a new pricing model for Windows 365 management that ensures predictable costs and greater flexibility for enterprises overseeing Windows 365 and AVD deployments.

With this latest release, Nerdio continues to drive innovation in cloud desktop management, empowering IT teams with the tools they need to maximise efficiency, security and cost savings in an evolving digital workplace.
