Contract manufacturer Endeavor 3D has officially achieved International Traffic in Arms Registration (ITAR) status for its polymer and metal additive manufacturing services. This achievement, in addition to their ISO 9001:2015 certification, is expected to further enhance the company’s role in aerospace, energy, defense, and supply chain manufacturing sectors.
ITAR Compliance Strengthens Endeavor 3D’s Capabilities
ITAR is a set of US government regulations designed to control the import, export, and manufacturing of defense-related products and services. Managed by the US Department of State, the primary goal of ITAR is to protect national security and support US foreign policy objectives. For Endeavor 3D, this status ensures secure handling of technical data and the control of processes for equipment, components, materials, and software to meet defense-related manufacturing standards.
Phil Arnold, Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor 3D, emphasized the significance of the new registration. “Endeavor 3D has strengthened its technology capabilities and operational systems to better support the US Defense Industrial Base,” he said. “The ITAR is an important milestone that bolsters our commitment to American manufacturing and innovation. We believe that our portfolio of advanced polymer and metal additive manufacturing services complements major initiatives in defense, energy, and supply chain manufacturing.”
