3D model description
Front bumper:
Version 1:
Hard plastic bumper with flexible TPU inserts and TPU handle protection. Perfect fit!
- Updated 07.07.2024 – reinforced version (slightly different from the Extreme pictures)
2mm thicker with a new designed TPU insert that has more protection at the edge
Tight fit and must be warmed up evenly to 60-70°C before assembly (preferably in a preheated oven at 70°C)
You can use glue or douple sided tape for the TPU inserts.
Version 2:
Hard plastic bumper, but WITHOUT flexible TPU inserts!
Tight fit and must be warmed up evenly to 60-70°C before assembly (preferably in a preheated oven at 70°C)
Version 3:
This is the full TPU Version! Little thinner at the front, no expansion slots and of course without TPU inserts.
The full TPU Version does not clamp firmly enough and additional double-sided adhesive tape or zip ties should be used for attachment. Otherwise it will come off in a crash.
Rear bumper:
Begode Extreme TPU rear bumper
TPU 95A
You will need longer allen or torx screws M8 x 25 and 4 toothed lock washers. One washer between the screw and the bushing and one washer between bushing and the aluminum bracket. The toothed washers prevent the bumper from rotating too easily.
The bushings should be printed with PETG, ABS or ASA, but not with TPU.
To avoid supports, the hole for the screw is covered with 2 layers. This must be cut away with a knife.
If you need small changes that are not so complicated, don’t hesitate to ask.
