The Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Research Innovation Institute (AMARII) is soliciting ideas for advanced manufacturing projects – for the FY 2026 – that will positively impact the northeast Ohio economy.
Project ideas may encompass advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, machining, process improvement, automation, metrology, digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, supply chain enhancement, energy and energy efficiency, technology enhancement, cost reduction, etc. The institute is encouraging all ideas to be submitted.
Priority consideration will be given to ideas that demonstrate the ability to advance manufacturing technologies, promote job growth and retention, and strengthen economic competitiveness.
AMARII will assess these potential projects from the region to determine if it is feasible to assist organizations by searching for potential funding sources from the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), state, regional, and local funding.
The project submission portal is now open and will close on Friday, November 29, 2024.
