3D model description
The Heinkel He 162 Volksjäger (German, “People’s Fighter”) is a German single-engine, jet-powered fighter aircraft fielded by the Luftwaffe late in World War II. Developed under the Emergency Fighter Program, it was designed and built quickly and made primarily of wood as metals were in very short supply and prioritised for other aircraft.
The aircraft was notable for its small size. It had a distinctive top-mounted engine which, combined with the aircraft’s low landing gear, allowed the engine to be easily accessed for maintenance.
The model is a semi scale version of the Volksjäger and can be quickly assembled with cyano glue. A quality edf like the XFly Galaxy 50mm 4S will give the model great performance. The model can fly both slow and fast. You can fly the model in a spirited way with tight turns or you can fly it in a scale like manner with wide turns and nice top side passes.

3D printing settings
Print all parts from active foaming LW-PLA and regular PLA
Please try printing directly from the supplied G-codes. For many people the G-codes will give you very nice prints. Give it a shot!
If you want to slice the stl files yourself:
Slice all LW-PLA parts with 0.25mm thickness, 1 wall, 2 bottom, 3 top and 3% gyroid infill. The two F6 parts should be printed with 6% gyroid infill.
Control surfaces should be printed with 3 bottom layers.
Slice all PLA parts with 0.25mm thickness, 1 wall, 3 bottom, 3 top and 3% rectilinear infill
