Apple announces new 2025 Apple Watch Pride band, watch face, and wallpaper

Apple has revealed the 2025 Pride Edition Sport Band, watch face, and iPhone and iPad wallpaper. The new band is available to order today. The watch face and wallpapers are coming in watchOS 11.5 and iOS 18.5.

The watch band follows a tradition of making unique, limited edition bands—not just from year to year but from band to band:

The Pride Edition Sport Band is available to order today, and the matching, dynamic watch face and wallpaper will be available in an upcoming software update.

Featuring a tapestry of rainbow stripes that vary in shape and size, each Pride Edition Sport Band is assembled by hand from individual stripes of vibrant color that are compression-molded together, creating subtle yet striking variations. No two bands are exactly alike, reflecting the individuality of all members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The band is sold in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes with options for S/M or M/L lengths for $49. 46mm is also compatible with 44mm Apple Watch models. Find it online here.

“The bold stripe design is inspired by the color palette of multiple Pride flags,” Apple says on its website. “Black and brown honor Black and Latin communities, as well as those impacted by HIV/AIDS. Light blue, pink, and white represent transgender and nonbinary individuals.”

While the watch band is available to purchase starting today, the new watch face and wallpapers will be available for free soon:

The new Pride Harmony watch face and iPhone and iPad wallpaper offer a complementary design. The analog watch face presents bold, individual rainbow stripes, which dynamically shift in sequence across the face of the display to form large hour numerals as users raise their wrist to check the time. The iPhone and iPad wallpaper features colors that change position as users move, lock, or unlock the device.

iOS 18.5 and watchOS 11.5 are currently in beta. We expect to see the release candidate version, presumably with the new watch face and wallpapers, as soon as today.
